Abstract

Smoking is one of the main addictions to which humanity has been exposed throughout history, with significant negative effects on people’s health, and which continues to cause millions of deaths worldwide every year. Electronic cigarettes that have emerged in recent decades have maintained this trend of traditional tobacco in relation to producing addictions and diseases in people. Due to the above, this update is proposed to show the damage it produces in people particularly vulnerable to its negative effects such as children and adolescents with the aim of raising awareness and preventing them from starting to use tobacco in any of its forms, be it traditional tobacco or electronic cigarettes.
